Okay, let me tell you having kids it one unpredictable crapshoot. This is especially true with small children. I had this grand idea of getting a single, really good photo of just Alex for our family Christmas card. I even borrowed a friends really awesome camera. Well, apparently I was the only person who was on board for this. NO ONE cooperated. Jason isn't a very good photo assistant, Alex just wanted to be held and Henry begged to be in the photo (only to cry once I started taking his photo). Finally I just got fed up and order our family christmas card with pictures of screaming kids. It is funny but not exactly what I was going for. I'l post the photos after my family gets the card. After I ordered our cards I found out that I was going to be able to borrow my friends camera for another night. So I drug my three boys into the field next door. I got some amazing adorable photos. Sweet photos that would have been lovely on my family Christmas card. I got these photos AFTER aforementioned cards had been ordered. And, that is my friends is life with kids. They don't do what you want when you want them too. Sigh. Oh well, at least I got some cute photos for my own benefit. I thinking there might be some photo gifts in our families future. I pretty sure these are photo mug worthy.
Don't fret, the grandparents bought this baby a new guitar for Christmas. One that has all it's strings.
Okay, did you really think we got through a whole photo shoot with out Henry acting his age? Not a chance. He is very good at being two.
