Snowman family

Henry is obsessed with snowmen right now.  Like, he talks about them all the time.   Needless to say when he saw a foam snowman craft kit on an end cap at wal-mart he boldly proclaimed "I neeeeeeeeed it."  A phrase that is uttered quiet frequently at the Barks house.  It was two bucks so I piked in up for him.  He had entirely to much fun making the snow man.  So when I was at Target a few days later and saw little snowmen kits a picked up two for Henry so he could make some snowmen ornaments.  Apparently we are both impulse shoppers and product placement works well on both of us.  When I got home he found the kit for the little snowman and started running around the house saying "I make a snowman family.  Mommy snowman, Daddy snowman, Baby Alex snowman and Henry snowman!!!" It was so stinking cute that I ran to walmart to get one more big snowman kit so I could fulfill his snowman family dreams.  Behold the Barks as snowmen . . . .

Incase you are wondering.  I am the one frowning.  I've mentioned I have been a bit blue and I guess Henry has been picking up the vibe. In addition to my frown he informed a friend that the mommy snowman had boobies.  Seriously.  I guess Henry is paying more attention that I realized when I am nursing Alex.   I love our snowman portraits so much.  I think I love them because it was his idea. I plan on leaving them up through the holidays.  Henry is actually staying with his grandparents right now.  I miss him so much but I do have to say it is nice to have some one on one time with Baby Alex.  Henry insist on calling him Baby Alex.  Because of this, Jason and I almost exclusively call him Baby Alex too.  I wonder how old he will be when we stop?  While I am rambling about my kids, I thought I would show you this  . . .

Oh yes, that is two cribs.  We are officially trying to house the boys in the same room.  Wish us luck!  Aren't their quilts super cute?  My sister totally made them.  While we are talking about things people made for the kids.  Here are some adorable name prints a friend (hi Marissa) made for them.

I love them.   You can't tell in the photo but they birthday dates are hidden in the collages.  It only took me 6 month to hang them up.  At the rate I am going I might have their room finished by the time Henry starts kindergarten.

Now I am off to finish up some seasonally appropriate crafts (i.e. Thanksgiving).  One my favorite things about the holiday seasons is all the craftiness.  'Tis the season to make stuff.
