This year, as you all know, is our first Christmas with Henry. This was also our first Christmas that we didn't travel or have family come in town. It was just the three of us. While we love our families dearly (and missed you all) it was nice to have a quiet Christmas at home. We ate (a lot), laid around the house in our pajamas, made ornaments, watched Christmas movies and went to a candlelight Christmas eve service. It really was a magical holiday. Magical despite the fact that Santa left a nasty cold for me under the Christmas tree. I should have left some hand sanitizer next to the milk and cookies we left for him. Since I have spent the day just laying around and whining (I am the biggest baby when I am sick), I decided to make a little montage of Henry's first Christmas. Here is a little video that shows our holiday fun. I realize this one of those videos that might be kind of boring for those of you who aren't related to us. I really made it more for us. This way, when Henry is in 20's we can bust out this video and make fun of him for eating ribbon. Here is our holiday in review.
Yes, Prissy (the little dog) is wearing one of Henry's diapers. She has been sick and her medication has caused her to have a little incontinence. So now we have two diapers to change. Aren't you jealous of us?
Did you see Henry's present? It is a taggie monster that I made! I know it sounds like I am bragging but that is only because I totally am. I am not really a seamstress and the fact that I finished two (I made one for Henry's girl friend
Stella) stuffed animals that aren't falling apart is amazing.
