The Newest Arrival to the Barks Family!

No, Jaime is not blogging from the hospital bed. This is Cassie and I've hijacked the blog to bring to you a very special introduction.
Meet Henry Elliot Barks.
He arrived on July 2, 2009 at 12:50 am weighing in at 7lbs 12oz and measuring 20 in. And my goodness, I think he has stolen the hearts of family and friends alike. He is a handsome boy and the pictures do not do him justice.
Jaime and Jason were, and are, amazing by the way. There is no doubt they will be included among the list of the most incredible parents we are blessed to know.

I was excited to meet Mr. Henry Elliot this afternoon. He is absolutely beautiful :) I love all the pics Cassie posted and the one of Henry looking up at his daddy brought tears to my eyes. Parenthood is amazing, he has given Henry the best parents ever! Congratulations Jason and Jaime.
Congratulations! I am so so happy for you guys and wish so much I could have been there. He is adorable and Jaime you look so good in your hospital pictures! I actually teared up a bit myself :)
It was a pleasure to accidentally get to meet Henry yesterday. He is quite a handsome fellow, and I am sure you'll be fantastic parents.
Also, we've got some baby stuff lying around the house that should get used. If you need anything, let me know and I'll see if we have it.
