I have entered my 37th week of pregnancy and I have been released from partial bed rest. Woo Whoooo! I have taken this weekend to make up for all the fun that I have been missing. It is wonderful to be able to get up and walk around. To celebrate we took the pups to the Ocoee Whitewater center to do a little hiking. I would have loved to have climbed Starr Mountain like I did when I was
8 weeks pregnant but there was no way that I could have hauled my pregnant butt up the mountain (also, it would be extremely dangerous. It is a very isolated trail). So, we settled for the Old Copper Trail that runs next to the river. For those of you not familiar with the trail, it is flat and graveled - totally tame. It was awesome to get out in the fresh air and sunshine. I feel a hundred times better. I suppose the next time we have a hiking adventure one of us will have a baby strapped to us.

Ann is shaking off from her swim in the river.

This is Prissy's idea of adventure. We couldn't get her to even consider getting in the water.

My burly mountain man - complete with beard and walking stick.
At this point, it is completely safe to deliver. Totally safe. We just had a bio-scan done on Baby Barks and he scored an 8 out of 8. He is fully developed. We even saw him exercise his lungs. He is ready to meet the world. Mommy isn't being careless. Just thought I would go ahead and let everyone know : ).
