On Sunday afternoon Miss Mary stopped by to give me this little coffee cup filled with a teddy bear and nail polish as an early Valentine's Gift. When she brought it over she told me that in the bible we are told love our neighbors like we love ourselves. She said she wanted to love on me a little because I have loved on her so much. We give her little gifts all the time just to keep her on our good side but I never really stopped to think about what it might mean to her. It is hard at times to remember that behind all her crazy is a normal lady. A normal lady who needs a little love and some clothes. She keeps asking me to bring her any clothing I don't want. Mary threatened to walk around naked if I did not bring her something from my closet. She laughed, but I wouldn't be surprised if I walked out one morning to find her naked as a jay bird sitting on her front porch.
PS. I just realized that one of our first baby's gifts is in the background. It is our very own copy of "Where the Wild Things Are!" Thank you Ben and Cassie for this awesome gift, it was one Jason's favorite books as a child. We cannot wait to read it to our baby boy (who has yet to be named)!

Where the Wild Things Are...truly one of the greatest books of all time. It was one of my favorites growing up, as well.
P.s. Don't forget my naming suggestion for the baby. Sir Bradford the Great. It's a hit with all the ladiezzzzz...
That was very sweet of Miss Mary ;)! I guess it is the little things that speak loudest to others.
What a GREAT book!
