Miss Mary is back!

The most famous resident on Walker Street is back to her old self (here is the back story). Miss Mary had a few weeks of rage and then silence. We thought she had moved. For almost 2 weeks we did not see or hear her. Just this week she has popped back up. We heard her cussing out the Hispanic kids next door over the weekend so when knew she was back. While we had heard her, we hadn't seen her or spoke with her until this morning.

On my way to work she stopped me. She yelled across the street "good mornin' beautiful!" She quickly, rushed over and began asking me about the giant bag I was carrying. I was taking an Ikea bag full of stuff I used the night before for a meeting back to the office. She immediately asked "is there anything in there for me?" I told her it was just a few bowls, some plastic table clothes, plates and napkins -- not really anything special. When I said table cloth she perked up. She immediately went into this long story about how her table cloth just got ruined and how pretty mine was. Since I wanted to stay on her good side, "hello beautiful" is much nicer than "white bitch," I gave her the table cloth. The photo is of her and her loot. When I asked her where she had been the last two weeks she told me she had been very sick but now she said she was feeling back to her old self.
